#Hot wheels unleashed dlc plan full#
1 of the hot wheels pass is in full swing.
Less than a month into the games life cycle, and vol. We knew we were only getting a piece of the pie when we bought the base game, but we didn’t realize how small that piece was. We knew from the start that the game would feature season passes full of expansion packs and shiny new cars. It’s become incredibly clear that DLC will be the big moneymaker for Milestone/Mattel here. That was until the announcements over these past few days.
It felt like a real, legitimate arcade racer, unlike the awful money-grabs we’ve seen released in the past, appealing to kids and enthusiasts alike for a quick buck. Regardless, the game felt like it was worth the $50 price tag. Not to mention the countless glitches, crashes and issues that players are experiencing. However, the campaign has zero substance, online play is lacking and full of issues, there’s features missing from the track builder, and progression beyond the base campaign is nonexistent, unless you like grinding for coins. I originally praised milestone and Mattel for giving us the best hot wheels game in a VERY long time, featuring great gameplay, and a decent roster of cars, all without loot crate microtransactions too. My opinions on this game have changed drastically in the past day or so.
